The Delta Flyers have won the IBC Solo/Duo competition held at Danelectro's Guitar Bar and will be advancing to the 25th annual International Blues Challenge on Beale Street, in Memphis, Tennessee, the first weekend of February in 2009, representing The Houston Blues Society and Southeast Texas. Our thanks go out to the judges who voted us in and to the hard working folks at The Houston Blues Society for making the competition possible. Joining us will be the winning Band, Rick Lee and The Night Owls, featuring the lovely Evelyn Rubio.
